It's been a busy day of work today with visits to some of Oamaru's larger employers. I got to talk about employment initiatives and partnerships between business, government and trainers which was well received. Then I had an hour of delivering brochures around Weston.

I'm standing for Mayor of the Waitaki District in this October's elections because I'm passionate about our area and want to see it move forward. We have a great district with so many things going for it, but the Council must do better.
